Atta or Wheat flour is an integral part of Indian homes and is a basic ingredient in all home recipes. This recipe is the Indian answer towards a quick mouth-watering dessert.
Banana atta cake is a flavourful cake that can be serve with evening tea. It is healthy as it is made from whole wheat flour instead of Maida or plain Flour. It is quick and easy to make at home as these ingredients are normally stocked in our kitchen pantry. So, just give it a try as I did and make kids in your family happy.
● Riped banana - 2
● Sugar (powder) - 1/2 cup
● Curd - 1/2 cup
● Milk - 1/2 cup
● Refined oil - 1/4cup
● Atta - 1cup
● Corn flour - 1 tbsp
● Baking powder - 1tsp
● Baking soda - 1/2 TSP
● Vennila essence - 1tsp
● Black kismish - 1tbsp
Steps for preparation
1- Take a bowl and mash the overripe banana in it add the oil and curd then mix it well. Now add the powder sugar and whisk together.
2- Now take a strainer and shift the atta baking powder , baking soda in it then mix the dry ingredients into the wet mix. Then add the milk and whisk to get the desired consistency.
3- Next add the vanilla essence and kismish then mix
4- Take a loaf tin (baking tin) line it with paper and brush it with oil. Now pour the banana cake mix in it .
5- Place the tin in a hot kadai and bake it for 40-50 mins.
6-Take out the cake, allow it to cool and
Cut it into pieces,then serve it.
