The term âmushroomâ is derived from the French word âmousseronâ and was a popular ingredient in dishes all over Europe, which is now eaten worldwide. The mushrooms which are edible contain protein and fibre. They also have vitamin B and selenium, which is a powerful antioxidant that keeps the immune system healthy and prevent damage to cells and tissues. Garlic is a known Ayurvedic medicine which has 100s of benefits.
Garlic mushroom is a quick fix snack as you can cook it with a very few ingredients and serve it on the top of a bread. Which will calm your hunger for the time being. I came across this recipe through a cooking show and just fallen in love with it. And today I am sharing it with all of you.
Ingredients:-
● Mushroom - 200gm
● Olive oi - 30 ml
● Onion - 1 cup chopped
● Garlic - 1 tbsp
● Salt - To taste
● Chilli flakes - 1tbsp
● Black pepper powder - 1tbsp
● Thyme - 1/2tsp
● Coriander leaves - 2tbsp
Steps for preparation:
1 - In a saute pan heat oil over medium flame. Add finely chopped onions and saute till it turns translucent.
2 - Now add the mushroom (cut into half)
and cook it on high flame . Now add the salt, pepper powder, thyme and chilli flakes. Stir for few minutes.
3 - Reduce the heat and add garlic. Cook for 3-4 more minutes, stirring frequently.
4 - Now add the chopped coriander leaves. Then serve it with bread.
